– So many patients very
sensitive to hormonal changes. For example, in women we
diagnose catamenial migraines, migraines that sensitive
to hormonal fluctuation. Very commonly patient
may notice a day or two before periods, menstruation,
during the ovulation time, they will have a migraine. And the reason for it, because
during menstrual cycle, you have sudden change of
hormonal concentration. So certainly if a new
patient has sensitivity to hormones we would
treat it appropriately and many times just
through extra treatments during those vulnerable time periods.
